Tears for Things (Sunt Lacrimae Rerum)
Sometimes there are tears for things lost. The large half-circle serves as a memorial to the fragile beauty of a life interrupted by illness. Colorful paper fans, cast into plaster, are carefully altered—torched to evoke traces of time and imperfection, symbolizing resilience as much as loss.
