Flight
Flight is dedicated to my father, Frank Joseph "Bud" Haberl, who was a "Hump" pilot in WWII. He flew supply mission across the Himalayas around Mt. Everest from Burma to India. He Flew a DC-3 without radar. He loved photographing what he saw from the air. He survived. I inherited his awe of making aerial imagery. The Flight installation simulates the perspective of a passenger looking out of the windows on both the left and right sides of an airplane aisle in winter.
